• POSITION TITLE –INSIDE SALES

The Inside Sales position fills an important function at Fiberlay, Inc. It blends sales, proactive selling, technical support and customer service equally in its responsibilities.

• BASIC FUNCTION

The Inside Sales position will have primary responsibilities for actively pursuing new business and proactively selling items in our inventory using an organized approach

• REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

This position currently reports to the Facility Manager.

• AUTHORITY

The Inside Sales position is delegated sufficient authority to carry out the duties of the position.

• RESPONSIBILITIES

The principle responsibilities of the Sales Support position consists of but are not limited to the following:

• Phone orders for distribution customers and where appropriate retail customers.
• Preparing quotes/bids
• Building new avenues for business
• Working off an Excel spreadsheet of slow moving items
• Proactively selling inventory on our floor to new customers via phone/internet
• DUTIES

In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the Inside Sales position is assigned the following duties:

• Primary responsibility for taking phone calls related to sales orders. This will include both distribution and retail customers. These orders will be written up, printed and distributed as directed.
• Creating new business by given certain products to sell to the masses in an organized approach
• In support of Outside Sales, you will prepare quotes/bids when requested by customers or by outside sales personnel.
• Handle Sales and Technical Support phone calls in the store.
• Assist in filling orders where appropriate.
• Execute pre-delivery customer call program. Program includes contacting customer’s one-two days prior to scheduled deliveries. The program is designed to facilitate additional sales where possible and prevent last minute rush orders for product.
• Maintain good working relationships with customers, company sales people, office employees, shipping companies, regulatory personnel and maintain high interest and morale.
• Attend all Fiberlay meetings on a timely and punctual basis when requested.
• Goals – With the Regional Manager prepares short and long term sales oriented goals and objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
